" NOT ENOUGH FOOTBALL!!! "

"Its so much FOOTBALL," how about not enough football. Jack Devries reviews madden 25 for xbox360 and playstation3 going on about the game from its franchise modes to its awesome gameplay. According to Jack the glitches in the game that players found so irritating are no longer there. He mentions the realness in the new graphics the make gamers feel more in tune with the game itself.  And needless to say I understand where he's coming from when he praises the new precision moves added to the game for the offense. This can really make the game exciting for you if you like playing with players such as runningback Marshawn Lynch from the Seattle Seahawks. They've taken away a few glitches from the previous Madden 13 like that faulty stiff arm. The graphics of the game are excellent to say the least. I shouldn't even have to mention the killer entrance they have for each team when you play a superbowl matchup. The game modes of the game have also made nice additions that could keep you entertained a bit longer.

What Devries forgot to mention was that this game focused more on flash than, what I view as a fan, EXCEPTIONAL gameplay. He doesn't tell you how almost every time someone hits you with a big hit while your executing a precision move, you will automatically fumble the ball no matter who the hitter or the ball carrier is. This makes percision moves extremely hard to use. As far as glitches I believe I seen it all. If your running behind certain players with momentum in certain areas of the field your player won't even attempt to tackle them even while you continuously press the tackle button. The dive tackle sometimes automatically guided the tackler to the ball carrier even if the tackler jumps pass or doesn't jump straight toward the ball carrier. The A.I. are completely ignorant when it comes to fumbles running and diving pass the ball even with no members of the opposing team around. There have even been instances where a player got tackled and defenders dogpiled the ball carrier, and the ball carrier just appeared up and running toward the touchdown again. You can only intercept the ball by holding Y, which doesn't always work. There has been countless times where I've held Y and my player won't even try to jump for the ball. I miss when they had a button to deflect the pass as well. I also find it ridiculously easily to break down zone defenses. All a player has to do is make a cut and nine times out of ten he will get a few steps ahead of whoever was covering him for an open pass. These errors can really get on one's nerves and can make the game very hard to tolerate. Also you can't help but notice these errors aren't as frequent on the PS4 and Xbox One. I can see why Jack Devries gives the game certain praises, however they aren't enough to satisfy a true gamer that loves to play Madden NFL football.
